Services

The Radiology Department is one of the first departments established in the hospital since it operated as Santiago Medical Clinic and Diagnostic Center in 1991. Initially, the department had an x-ray machine; and this was shortly followed by the acquisition of an ultrasound machine. Over the years, the Radiology Department has grown and started to provide additional and modern radiological services. Currently, it houses some of the core facilities of the hospital. These include the newly installed Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) that uses advanced imaging techniques and clinical application; and the Computerized Axial Tomography (CT) Scan machine which was first installed in 2001 and was replaced by a newer and more efficient unit in 2006.
